Hey, craxyman556. No, yaks are long-haired and hang out around the Himalayas. These are Cape Buffalo of Africa. Wikipedia has some good pictures if you search on each.

Hey, alio122000. Zoom in. It's a high-res picture of a well. It has four pulleys, with four tracks for pulling the ropes. The dark patches making an X are wet ground where water has been pulled up.
