"The Concert" in Oakland, CA - Jan 31, 1970. I was a senior in HS that year and LOVED CCR. Sure wish I had been able to see it live! There is a CD available from Fantasy of this concert - I have it.

Any idea what year this was performed. I don't care if it aligns with Long Tall Sally. It still kicks ass as a great tune and there are thousands THOUSANDS of copied tunes before during and since then. One of my favorite memories of this song was when it was played on SNL and CHURCH LADY played the drums. Who knew?.....

And "Long Tall Sally" had similar elements to songs previous, a lot of them taken from some of Elvis' earlier work. It's the way music grows, too bad music is growing like an "in grown toenail" now. It's hard to find good music today. I wouldn't say ripped, but used some elements, whether that be the instruments or loops or song structure/phrasing.
