The U.S. fiscal year end is 9/30/08. All of what is now occurring is a prelude to what is up & coming on 9/30/08 once the books are open to the world. China & Russia are already dumping the dollar [hence the forced buyout of Fannie & Freddie]. Once the books are open to the world's eyes other countries will follow suit & dollar dumping will be rampant. The FED has devalued the dollar & thus we are SCREWED! Ron Paul told ya so a long time ago. It's a shame people are just now listening...fools.

Why hasn't the government arrested Paulson yet? Send him to prison for LIFE.

You're all being run the Bilderberg Group. This subprime scandal started only days after their 2005 meeting that distributed the orders on the first day of their meeting. They've been talking about the consolidation of banks for the past two years.

then why the hell does his 3 page bill call for "no review" by congress or the courts. Paulson is a lying SOB

Too bad they didn't read the fine print in the Patriot Act.

What part of NO doesn't he understand? The one and only way the Democrats lose this election is to vote to give Wall Street $700+ billion.

You thought it would be too "presumptuous"? Really? Get out of this fucking country. He needs to be exiled.
OPEPOE (September 23rd, 2008 @ 6:17 pm)
Damn ... you beat me to it. :) The opportunistic little git is presuming on the short-term memory of everyone around him. "Hey, you were supposed to be too panicked to read the fine print!"

So why did that "simple three page proposal" include this clause: Section 8. Review: Decisions by the Secretary pursuant to the authority of this Act are non-reviewable and committed to agency discretion, and may not be reviewed by any court of law or any administrative agency. Now THAT'S presumptuous...
