If you look at this clip its crafted and paced with a subdued machismo which is simply not a part of our brattish world anymore. Brad Pitt is to star as Frank Bullitt in a Remake, which will be like all other remakes. You cant remake CocaCola..

All the cars had beefed up frames to take the jumps and landings..if you ever try that with a stock car (a few people have)you'll notice your front fenders starting at the firewall now point up at a 30 degree angle and your front wheels and A Arms are somewhere loose in the fender wells...the final scene had the Charger attached to the Mustang and when released it missed the gas station...in real life a Detective that did that would be Foot Patrolman by nightfall..
