It is not a Christian song. There is no god. No jesus. Religion causes nothing but problems. The song is about whoever you make it to be.

i know this is a christian song, but this song reminds me of my father who passed away. i cry everytime i hear it but i can't help but listen to it since it's such a beautiful song.

Yes. It is a christian song. Yes. He is a christian artist. But, that doesn't mean we can't take it as a love song. It's a great song and can have multiple meanings. As for me; I take it as a love song.

I believe this song originated as Christian music. It at least hints at Christianity. Notice the, "You raise me up to walk on stormy seas." This shows when Jesus took Peter to walk on the water with Him. How could any human raise someone up more than they can be? Only GOD can do this. Josh Groban is a Christian artist.
