Not sure if you know what your talking about. In any event. The first song, "The day the music died" is about the death of 3 great musicans in 1959. Buddy Holly, Richie Valance, and J.P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson. I think the song is appropriate, as New Orleans was the city of music. Regardless of who was to blame. This is a great video/song combo.

You should read "Eco-Freaks" by Berlau. He points out that it was environmentalists who blocked the building of canals which might have protected New Orleans. Every time the state put forward a plan, the greenies blocked it with a lawsuit.
