the 1st player (left) has the Bb trumpet he is playing, a fluglehorn, and an A/Bb piccolo. the 2nd (right) has the Bb trumpet he is playing, and *hard to tell from the angle but...* an A/Bb piccolo, a C trumpet, and possibly an Eb trumpet? The reason they have several instruments is to put difficult pieces into a key that allows easier runs / trills / whatever. Also, they provide a slightly different sound (such as the flugle and picc) for a desired overall ensemble texture.
