I think Travis Barker is a very competent drummer, but to compare him to Buddy Rich is just ludicrous, I have to agree with you...The thing is that Travis is like the guy who made it popular to play drums so people saw a lot of him and to someone who doesn't play an instrument it looks amazing, but to people like you and me who know music it's just like 'I can do that and so can about 5 more drummers I know, it's just a normal 16 beat with fills, big whoop' you know?

If you can believe it, I have been on various forumns and other websites pertaining to buddy rich and/or other drummers and almost fell off my chair laughing when I seen two of these travisbrulzz posters on these sites bashing buddy. Goes to show you wat sits behind the kybd and is absolutly useless to respond or debate with. Could very well be an adult that is mildly retarded just as well.

Yeah that's what I said lmao. He can have a nooby oppinion. But every unexperienced drummer jumps to the assumption that travis is the best cuz travis bangs hard during rap/hip hop covers. I bet the little newb doesnt even own a two peice =/
