you need a program called infra recorder to burn the iso file to a disk properly so your pc can boot from it infra recorder is free and you can get it at download dot com

Honest not be a flamer but does Linux actually exist? I've downloaded about 20 iso images from various distributions and used the "Live CD" version to check how it works and it throws up a bunch of text and says...dropped to lowest shell and displays just a $ symbol.

Anyone know about the Live CD distribution for CLinux? I just burned my own copy a few hours ago and I can't get it to run. I cannot get it to run on my handheld PC becaue it's not recognizing my CD drive (because the drive is external), it's not running on my mom's (don't know why), and I am wondering if I have all my files. I have a pclinux2007.iso and a pclinux07.dis5sum (or something like that). Any help would be appreciated & I'll keep trying. Thanks in advance.
