BSG's redo would be nothing compared to gender changing trek,if Starbuck was level 4 in world popularity and mindset then Spock would be 44, so making him a woman would be too much to accept. Even as dead as original BSG was and as little as people cared for the old Starbuck the change to a woman shook up everyone. Imagine making Sulu a woman? Oh wait he is! Woops...

I'd like to see them redo it totally, a la Battlestar Galactica. Except for changing the genders of characters. I'd hate to see Spock as a woman or something.

Espectacular !!! muy buena produccion , los amantes de esta serie deberiamos estar alegres y sattisfechos con esta pelicula de Star Trek. y dejar de criticar si tiene o no elementos de la version anterior, recuerden que aquellas series donde actuaba William Shatner , fueron otras epocas y otros estilos, hay que adaptarse a los tiempos que corren- yo por mi parte estoy muy satisfecho y alegre esperando poder verla en los cines locales. saludos a toda la comunidad de fans De "star Trek"
